Inter-American Development BankMarcella Distrutti serves as Health Senior Specialist in the Social Protection and Health Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, where she has worked since joining as a Young Professional in 2013. After earning her master's degrees in health policy, planning and financing from LSHTM and LSE, and in international development and economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, she has established herself as an expert in health systems and priority setting. Her career includes working at the Brazilian Ministry of Health on sexual and reproductive health policies and consulting for organizations like the World Bank and Clinton Foundation. Through her co-authorship of "La priorización en Salud paso a paso" examining health priority setting processes in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, and her role coordinating the IDB CRITERIA Network, she continues to advance understanding of explicit priority setting tools while supporting health benefits package development across Latin America
