Manki Kim

Professor Man Gi Kim is a leading expert in Global Public Procurement and Defense Procurement, currently serving as a professor in KAIST's Global Procurement Program (GPP) and Defense Export Development Program (DEDP), and as a Senior Advisor at Yulchon LLC. He has extensive experience in global management, acquisition, and contract management across Australia, the U.S., the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Dr. Kim's academic journey includes studies at King’s College London, Macquarie University, Georgetown University, and Dankuk University, where he earned his PhD in Economics. His expertise spans international competitive bids and public procurement projects involving the EU, UN, US, MDBs, and other countries, making him a recognized leader in the field. He has consulted for various Korean government agencies, including the Ministry of Defense and the Public Procurement Service. Dr. Kim has been honored with numerous awards, such as the Gold Leadership Award from the Korean-American Coalition, the Golden Peace Medal from the Mongolian government, and the National Leadership Award from the U.S. National Republican Congressional Committee.
