Manisha Chachra

Manisha Chachra is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where she also completed her MPhil and Master's degrees in Political Studies. She is UGC NET qualified and has taught at Satyawati College, Delhi University, where she has contributed significantly to the academic environment. Additionally, she has delivered guest lectures at Boston University and Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.Her research focuses on inter-faith and inter-caste marriages, particularly examining the role of the state in these contexts in Delhi and Lucknow. Manisha has published articles in various reputable media outlets such as Indiaspend, The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy, Tehelka, NewsMinute, and The Quint. She has also contributed to scholarly journals and presented her research at national and international conferences.With a strong commitment to academia, Manisha aims to deepen the understanding of complex social issues through her research and teaching.
