Majed Al-Ghandour

Dr. Majed Al-Ghandour is a seasoned educator and consultant with over 27 years of experience in teaching and developing courses in data science, machine learning, and data engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Division of Continuing Education. He holds a PhD in Engineering from North Carolina State University and has taught a variety of classes, including Introduction to Data Science, Data Engineering, and Docker Fundamentals with AWS. In addition to his role at UCI, Dr. Al-Ghandour serves as a Visiting Lecturer at NCSU, where he instructs MBA graduates in courses such as Introduction to Data Analytics and Visualization, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Computing. His extensive teaching portfolio also includes corporate training in programming languages like Java, Python, and SQL, as well as advanced data analytics techniques using tools like Tableau and SAS.
