Luigi Fratini

Luigi Fratini is the Head of the Prevention Cell Unit in the Law & Policy department at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva. He graduated in International Relations from the University of Florence, Italy, and holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Action from the University of Geneva. With over ten years of experience in the humanitarian sector, Fratini has worked with the ICRC both at headquarters and in various field assignments across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. His expertise lies in developing strategies to enhance the protection of health care services in conflict zones, ensuring that humanitarian principles are upheld during crises.
