The University of EdinburghLucy Stanfield (now Lucy Stanfield-Jenner) is a multifaceted sustainability professional who has evolved from her role as Circular Economy Business Development Executive at the University of Edinburgh to becoming Director and Head of Natural Capital at Savills. Her expertise spans research and innovation in circular economy and low-carbon initiatives, building upon her MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh, where she specialized in land ownership and management for carbon sequestration. As Chair of the 2050 Climate Group, Scotland's youth-led climate charity, she demonstrates her commitment to empowering young people in climate action. Her work includes developing business frameworks for sustainable startups, supporting innovation in environmental sciences, and contributing to various climate initiatives. Through her involvement in the CloudEARTHi project and other university initiatives, she helps bridge the gap between academic research and practical implementation of circular economy principles. Stanfield-Jenner is also actively involved in strategy and business development within the environment and higher education sectors, regularly participating in sustainability showcases and circular economy discussions at both academic and policy levels.
