Boston UniversityLucas B. Hill serves as Associate Researcher and Evaluator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER), where he focuses on understanding and assessing large-scale collaborative higher education reform initiatives. His research portfolio includes several National Science Foundation-funded projects, including the NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES Aspire Alliance, the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project, Belonging in Field Education, and the CIRTL Change Leadership Development Program. He is also part of the leadership team for the ACCESS+ Network, an initiative involving over 30 STEM professional societies. His academic journey includes a B.A. in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University, followed by M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University. His work primarily examines the effectiveness of complex education reform efforts, particularly focusing on faculty preparation, evidence-based pedagogical practices, and increasing participation of underrepresented students in STEM fields. His research has been published in prestigious journals including The Journal of Higher Education and Innovative Higher Education, contributing significantly to understanding how educational networks can drive systemic change in higher education
