Lorena Yadira Alemán de la Garza is a research professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she teaches in the Master's programs in Educational Technology and Education. She holds a Doctorate in Education and TIC (e-learning) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), a Master's degree in Administration of Educational Institutions from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad TecMilenio. Alemán de la Garza is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and participates in the Research Group on Innovation in Education (GIIE), focusing on the development and use of technology in education and educational management. She has been involved in various research projects funded by CONACyT and the European Commission, and is associated with UNESCO's Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development. Her research interests include innovative educational models, the impact of technology on learning, and pedagogical quality indicators for online courses. Alemán de la Garza is also a member of the Mexican Council for Educational Research (COMIE) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
