Long Huan has established herself as a distinguished researcher and educator in theoretical computer science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since earning her PhD in Computer Software and Theory in 2009 under the mentorship of Professor Fu Yuxi. As an assistant researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, she specializes in concurrency theory, formal theory, and computational theory. Her academic journey includes valuable international experience as a visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh (2013-2014), which has enriched her research perspective. Her contributions to the field are evidenced through numerous publications in domestic and international academic journals, and she has been actively involved in several national scientific research projects in China. A significant achievement in her teaching career includes leading the development of an English-language "Discrete Mathematics" demonstration course for international students at Shanghai universities. Her dedication to both research and education has made her an integral part of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's computer science department, where she continues to bridge theoretical computer science with practical applications while fostering international academic exchange through her English-medium instruction initiatives.
