Liu Pangfeng is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University in 1994, following a Master’s degree from the same institution in 1990, and a Bachelor’s degree from National Taiwan University in 1985. Since August 2003, he has been a professor at National Taiwan University, where he has also held various leadership roles, including Deputy Director of the TrendMicro Cloud Computing Program from 2010 to 2013 and Deputy Chairman of his department from 2005 to 2008. Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor at both National Chung Cheng University and National Taiwan University, and he has extensive post-doctoral experience at prestigious institutions such as Rutgers University and Academia Sinica.
