Lina Muñoz Ávila

Lina Muñoz Ávila is a prominent scholar and practitioner in environmental law, serving as Director of the Specialization and Master's programs in Environmental Law and Management at Universidad del Rosario. As a principal faculty member of the School of Jurisprudence, she also leads the environmental legal clinic at the Public Interest Law Group, engaging in high-impact litigation nationally and internationally. Her research focuses on environmental democracy, sustainable development, climate change, and strategic litigation. She works extensively to strengthen access to environmental information, public participation, and justice, aiming to safeguard the right to a healthy environment. Active in the interdisciplinary Mutis Group, she bridges theory and practice to empower legal mechanisms for environmental protection.
