After completing her MSc in International Land and Water Management at Wageningen University & Research, she has built a career focused on environmental communication and rewilding initiatives. As co-founder of Alerce Environmental since March 2020, she develops communication strategies and content for environmental projects, specializing in knowledge dissemination and public outreach. Her role as former Head of Communications and Engagement at the Rewilding Academy (2021-2023) involved creating outreach strategies and educational content for rewilding initiatives. Currently, she co-leads the Rewilding Community of Practice, organizing free online events to inspire people and facilitate networking opportunities in the rewilding field. Her expertise spans environmental sciences, sustainable land management, and nature-based solutions, with particular emphasis on making complex environmental concepts accessible to diverse audiences. Her work includes significant experience in public relations, demonstrated through her role at the Botanical Garden Innsbruck, where she managed social media channels and organized educational events. Through her various roles, she continues to bridge the gap between scientific research and public understanding of environmental issues, particularly in the areas of ecological restoration and sustainable land management.
