LEE, Chunghyoung

Lee, Chunghyoung is a respected professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), where he has made significant contributions to both philosophy and the intersection of philosophy with the sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a minor in Physics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, obtained in 2006, and previously earned his B.S. in Physics from Seoul National University in 1995. Lee's academic career includes positions as an Associate Professor in the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at POSTECH, as well as roles at Kyung Hee University and California State University, Fresno. His research interests encompass a wide range of philosophical inquiries, particularly those that explore the implications of physical theories on philosophical thought. Through his work, Lee aims to foster a deeper understanding of how philosophical frameworks can inform scientific practices and vice versa, thereby enriching both fields.
