Laurent DEVILLE

Laurent Deville is a Professor of Finance and the Academic Director of the Masters in Finance program at EDHEC Business School. He holds a PhD in management sciences from Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, with a thesis focused on transaction costs and options market efficiency. Deville has been a faculty member at EDHEC since 2009, where he also directs the Financial Economics track. His research interests include options, futures, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and liquidity provision in financial markets, with numerous publications in leading academic journals. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is involved in various professional committees and serves as an instructor for online courses on platforms like Coursera. Deville is recognized for his commitment to integrating sustainability into finance education, emphasizing the role of finance in addressing climate change challenges.
