Laura Victoria Rivera Amézquita

Laura Victoria Rivera Amézquita is a physical therapist from Universidad del Rosario, with a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Munich. She was a young researcher at Colciencias in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden), focusing on muscle physiology and exercise. She has teaching and research experience at the Institute of Biometry and Epidemiology, University of Munich, and as a research assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Physical Activity, University of Regensburg. Currently, she is an assistant professor at Universidad del Rosario, leading the self-directed team in physical activity and sports within the Physiotherapy program. She is also a researcher at the Center for Physical Activity Measurement and a doctoral student in Movement Sciences at Palacky University in the Czech Republic
