Larry Rosenstock has transformed American education through his visionary leadership and innovative approaches to learning. As founder and CEO Emeritus of High Tech High and Dean of the HTH Graduate School of Education, he developed a revolutionary project-based learning model that integrates academic and technical education. His journey began as a carpentry teacher in Boston's inner-city schools, followed by roles as a staff attorney at the Harvard Center for Law and Education and director of the New Urban High School Project. His academic credentials include a J.D. from Boston University, teaching positions at Harvard Graduate School of Education and UC Berkeley, and an honorary doctorate from Cambridge College. Under his leadership, High Tech High grew from a single charter school to a network of sixteen schools serving over 5,780 students, with a Graduate School of Education that trains thousands of educators annually. His achievements have earned him numerous prestigious recognitions, including the WISE Prize for Education, the Ashoka Fellowship, the McGraw Prize in Education, and the Ford Foundation Innovations in State and Local Government Award
