Kevin Smith is a librarian and attorney with expertise in copyright and technology law, having served as the director of the Office of Copyright and Scholarly Communications at Duke University. In this role, he was responsible for teaching and advising faculty, administrators, and students on copyright, intellectual property licensing, and scholarly publishing. Kevin also provided guidance on local and national policies, helping the university community navigate the evolving landscape of scholarly publication.
