Harvard UniversityKeith Stone serves as a CHS Fellow in Instructional Design, Comparative Study of Ancient Texts, and Research Publications at Harvard's Center for Hellenic Studies. He earned his PhD from Harvard University in 2013, with his dissertation "Singing Moses's Song: A Performance-Critical Analysis of Deuteronomy's Song of Moses" later published as a book by the Ilex Foundation in 2016. As Head Teaching Fellow for Harvard College's course "The Ancient Greek Hero: Mythology and Facing Death," he combines his research expertise with educational leadership. His scholarly work focuses on performance dynamics in traditional settings, particularly examining founder-linked traditions in ancient Israelite literature and religion. Stone serves as the primary editor of Classical Inquiries and has published significant works including "Ordeal" in the Oxford Encyclopedia of Bible and Law. His research interests extend to Northwest Semitic languages, land ideology, and ancient Greek myth and hero cult, while his professional work encompasses educational technology development, instructional design, and comprehensive language instruction
