Karen Radner is the Alexander von Humboldt Professor of the Ancient History of the Near and Middle East at LMU Munich and an Honorary Professor of Ancient Near Eastern History at University College London. She received her doctorate in Ancient Near Eastern languages and archaeology from the University of Vienna in 1997. Radner has held academic positions at various universities, including Helsinki, Tübingen, and Munich, before spending a decade at UCL and returning to Munich in 2015.
