Public Health and Cardiology Expert
K. Srinath Reddy has established himself as a distinguished leader in public health and cardiology, serving as Honorary Distinguished Professor at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), an organization he previously led as President from 2006 to 2022. His academic journey includes medical training at Osmania Medical College, specialized cardiology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and epidemiology studies at McMaster University in Canada. His career spans significant roles in academia and public health policy, including heading the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS and serving as the First Bernard Lown Visiting Professor of Cardiovascular Health at Harvard School of Public Health (2009-13). His influence extends across multiple prestigious institutions as an Adjunct Professor at Harvard, Emory University, University of Sydney, and the University of Pennsylvania.
