IIT RoorkeeJyoti Kumar is an esteemed academic and practitioner in the field of User Experience (UX) Design with extensive experience in both research and teaching. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD), where he has been conducting groundbreaking research in UX and teaching courses in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Product Design since 2010. His research interests include persuasion design and neurophysiological assessment of UX.Dr. Kumar completed his PhD in Cross-Cultural User Experience Design Methods from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (2009), where he explored the integration of cultural elements in the UX design process. He has also contributed significantly to Human Factors International (HFI), where he led the Center of Excellence and excelled as one of the top instructors, specializing in UXD consulting, teaching, and research.Throughout his career, Jyoti has been passionate about exploring the philosophical aspects of UX design and its impact on both individual and collective user experiences. His deep engagement with academia and industry has positioned him as a thought leader in the UX community.
