José María Gasalla Ph.D.

José María Gasalla serves as Professor at DEUSTO Business School and visiting professor at INCAE Business School, bringing over four decades of expertise in organizational development and leadership. After completing his PhD in Economics and Business Studies and earning his degree in Aeronautical Engineering, he has established himself as a leading authority in trust-based management. His career includes serving as Director of the Talent Management Program at ESADE Business School and founding Grupo Desarrollo Organizacional, where he has implemented change management processes for major corporations like Banco Santander, IBM, and Coca-Cola. As creator of the "Management by Trust" model and evaluator for AECOP's coach accreditation process, he continues to influence leadership development while authoring influential books including "La nueva dirección de personas" and "Asunto: confianza y compromiso." His research focuses on trust and commitment in organizations, combining psychological and business perspectives through his advanced studies in Social Psychology.
