Dr. José Ernesto Amorós Espinosa holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences (Cum Laude) from ESADE-Univeristat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, Spain. Since January 2016, he has led the doctoral programs at EGADE Business School and serves as a professor and co-leader of the Strategic Focus Research Group (GIEES) in Entrepreneurship and Leadership at Tecnológico de Monterrey. His extensive academic career includes roles such as Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute and Coordinator of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in Chile. Dr. Amorós has made significant contributions to the field of entrepreneurship and management, having been a board member of the Global GEM and part of its research committee. He has been a visiting researcher at prestigious institutions like the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER) and has collaborated on projects with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank. His academic achievements include authoring over 40 articles in prominent international journals and co-authoring more than 30 monographs on entrepreneurial dynamics in cooperation with institutions such as the World Economic Forum. Dr. Amorós is also a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-Conacyt) and a visiting professor at various Latin American and European universities.
