Jorge Carretero is a researcher and professor affiliated with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a degree in Physics (Theoretical Physics) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2005) and a Master's degree in Astrophysique et Milieux Dilués from the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Grenoble (2005). Carretero earned his Ph.D. in Physics from UAB in 2013, working at the Institut de Ciències de l'Espai (ICE) with a FPI scholarship. Since 2012, he has been involved with the Port d'Informació Científica (PIC), contributing to projects such as MICE, PAU, DES, and Euclid. His work focuses on astrophysics and cosmology, including simulations and data analysis.
