Jörg Eschenauer is a Professor and Chairman of the Languages & Cultures Department at the Mines-Télécom Institute. Previously, he served as President of the Department of Languages & Cultures and was a professor at École des Ponts ParisTech. With a robust academic background, he has taught subjects including German, History, and Political Science at both secondary and higher education levels. Eschenauer earned his PhD from the Faculty of History, Philosophy, and Political Science at the University of Heidelberg. He has significant experience teaching in the International Sections of the Lycée de Sèvres and in prestigious Grandes Écoles such as Central, Polytechnique, and Ponts, where he has supported linguistic, intercultural, and methodological tandems. Since 2012, he has been the President of the Union of Language Teachers of the Grandes Écoles (UPLEGESS). His courses include "An Intercultural Notebook for Academic Mobility," which focuses on enhancing students' understanding of cultural dynamics in an academic context.
