Jordi Serra

Jordi Serra, a marine geologist and professor of Marine Geosciences, is the founder of the Marine Geosciences Group at the University of Barcelona (Spain). His career is distinguished by his extensive experience in research and management of marine and coastal systems, particularly in marine sedimentary dynamics, deltaic and estuarine processes, and marine resources. He has contributed to numerous international studies and projects, such as Eurosion, focused on European coastal erosion, and the analysis of the evolution of the Río de la Plata estuary since the rise in sea level during the Holocene.
