Jong-Su Ryu

Jong-Su Ryu serves as Professor at Yonsei University's Graduate School of Public Health, where he teaches in the Master of Global Health Security and Health Policy and Financing programs. After earning his master's in social service policies from Fordham University in New York, he has established himself as a leader in global health security and universal health coverage. His career includes serving as commissioner at Korea's National Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service and secretary-general of UNICEF's Korean Committee. Through his roles advising international institutions like the Joint Learning Network Steering Group and leading Knowledge Sharing Program consultations for Colombia and Peru's national health policies, he continues to influence global health policy while developing capacity-building initiatives for low- and middle-income countries. His current work includes conducting online seminars for government officials worldwide on medical care systems and epidemic preparedness.
