Jonathan Saunders

Jonathan Saunders is a Lead Serious Games Developer and Research Fellow at CENTRIC, as well as a Games Development Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. With experience in both the games industry and academia, he has developed games for a wide range of platforms and users around the world. His research primarily focuses on using serious games, virtual reality, and augmented reality to train and educate users in the field of security. Jonathan has led projects that created award-winning games on topics such as Cyber Security, Counter Terrorism, and Cryptocurrency investigations, working directly with organizations like Europol, the UK Defence Science Technology Lab, and the United Nations. He is also a member of the Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance on "International Security Management," where he played a key role in organizing the validation and launch of the Executive Masters in International Security Management at Sheffield Hallam University, which began in September 2020.
