Jonathan, Assistant Director of the Center for News Literacy at Stony Brook University, joined the center in 2007 as one of its first Graduate Teaching Fellows. He earned his PhD in History from Stony Brook in 2012 and now serves as a News Literacy lecturer, recitation leader, and Accreditation Coordinator. Jonathan also teaches history courses at Stony Brook's School of Professional Development and Suffolk County Community College. He is completing his forthcoming book, Battles of the North Country: Wilderness Politics and Recreational Development in the Adirondack Park, to be published by the University of Massachusetts Press.
