John Gill

John D. Gill earned a Bachelor's in English from the University of Arkansas and a J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. After working as an attorney in civil fraud and deceptive trade practices, he joined the ACFE in 1995, serving as General Counsel and later as Research Director. Promoted to Vice President of Education in 2009, he oversees the development of ACFE's educational materials, including books, self-study courses, and seminars. He co-authors the Fraud Examiners Manual, teaches the CFE Exam Review class, and contributes to *Fraud Magazine*. He is a member of ACFE, the State Bar of Texas, and the ABA.
