Jelle Koolwijk

Jelle Koolwijk serves as a researcher and Assistant Professor at TU Delft's Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, specializing in strategic partnerships, supply chain integration, and collaborative design in the Construction industry. His academic contributions include groundbreaking research on rules, power, and trust in project-based organizations, earning him multiple awards including the 2021 Best Paper Award at the International SEEDS conference and the Research Innovation Sustainability Enterprise (RISE) award. His research focuses on the interplay between inter-organizational structures and interpersonal relationships in construction projects, with particular emphasis on project delivery methods and team effectiveness. As Course Manager and Tutor of Research Methods, he teaches project delivery methods, project development, and risk identification while maintaining strong industry connections through advising branch organizations and social housing associations.
