Georgetown UniversityJeanne Meck serves as Director of Cytogenomics and Prenatal Diagnostic Services at GeneDx, where she applies her expertise in constitutional cytogenetic diagnosis using both classical and molecular methods. After earning her MS in Behavior Genetics and PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Connecticut, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in cytogenetics and immunogenetics at the University of Miami School of Medicine, she has established herself as a leader in clinical genetics. As a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (FACMG), she maintains an active role in medical education through her faculty appointment as Professor at Georgetown University, where she contributes to training medical genetics fellows through the NHGRI/NIH fellowship program. Her work combines cutting-edge diagnostic services with a commitment to advancing the field through education and training of future genetics professionals.
