Jean-Paul Restoule is an Associate Professor of Aboriginal Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. A member of the Anishinaabek Nation (Dokis), he has over 12 years of experience teaching Aboriginal issues at the post-secondary level. Restoule's research focuses on improving access to higher education for Aboriginal people and exploring the development of Aboriginal cultural identities in urban settings. He also co-chaired OISE’s Indigenous Education Network for seven years, contributing to the advancement of Indigenous education.
