Jarrod Jordan serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Maryland Global Campus and Webster University while maintaining his role as a Cybersecurity Manager for the United States Army Cyber Protection Brigade. His extensive career spans over 18 years across Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Intelligence sectors, with significant experience in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. His expertise has been shaped through roles at prestigious organizations including the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency. As an instructor in UMGC's Cloud Computing MicroMasters program, he brings practical cybersecurity experience to the classroom, helping prepare the next generation of IT security professionals. His background in both military and civilian sectors provides students with valuable insights into real-world cybersecurity challenges and solutions. Jordan's teaching focuses on cloud security implementation and risk mitigation strategies, drawing from his extensive experience in protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive information systems.
