About Me
Jarrod Goentzel serves as Principal Research Scientist at MIT's Center for Transportation & Logistics and Founder-Director of the MIT Humanitarian Supply Chain Lab, where he revolutionizes supply chain management for humanitarian response. After earning his PhD from Georgia Tech's School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, he joined MIT in 2003 to establish the Zaragoza Logistics Center in Spain. His research focuses on optimizing resource-constrained supply chains through improved management systems and decision support technology, working directly with private sector, government, and humanitarian organizations across multiple continents.
