Green serves as the Managing Director of Learning and Development for the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute at the University of Maryland, where he has established himself as a distinguished leader in entrepreneurship education and innovation. His academic credentials include a Doctor of Management and MS in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. In his current role, he oversees comprehensive entrepreneurship education programs, including two innovative online graduate programs: the Master of Professional Studies in Product Management and Technology Entrepreneurship. His excellence in education was recognized with the first prize in the 2013 3E Learning Innovative Entrepreneurship Education Competition. Dr. Green's impact extends beyond the classroom through his creation of the University of Maryland's first MOOC on Coursera, "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies," which has reached over 800,000 students. His entrepreneurial experience includes founding and executive roles at successful ventures like WaveCrest Laboratories, Cyveillance, and NetMentors.Org. As a thought leader in entrepreneurship education pedagogy and entrepreneurial opportunity analysis, he has contributed over 25 publications and presentations to the field, while actively serving as Editor for the ASEE Entrepreneurship Division. His research focuses on entrepreneurship education and the psychology of entrepreneurship, making him a frequent presenter at prestigious conferences for organizations like the Academy of Management and USASBE.
