EdxJames Donald has built an exceptional career spanning documentary filmmaking and educational technology. He graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College with a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies. His 17-year documentary career included producing 22 award-winning films for PBS and National Geographic, earning prestigious accolades including a Peabody Award, two National Emmy Awards, multiple CINE Golden Eagles, and the New York Festivals' World Gold Medal. At edX, he served as a video producer from 2012 to 2017, creating educational content for MIT and Wellesley College while also training partners in video production best practices. He produced numerous online courses and marketing videos that reached hundreds of thousands of students. He currently serves as Executive Producer at DigiNovations, where he continues to create impactful educational and corporate content. Beyond his professional work, Donald is a family man with three children, enjoys movies, keeps dogs, and has a passion for home-brewed iced coffee.
