Iván Adolfo Valdovinos Hernández

Dr. Iván Adolfo Valdovinos Hernández serves as Director of MBA Fly-In Programs at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey. With a background as a Certified Public Accountant and MSc in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey, he earned his PhD in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School in 2010, where his thesis on subsidiary control systems won the best business thesis award at the 41st Research and Development Congress. His professional experience includes partnership at Grupo Strategia Corporativa México (2001-2005), visiting professorship at the University of San Diego (2015), and membership in the Professional Research Commission of the Guadalajara Accountants College (2011-2017). Currently, he combines his role as program director with teaching as an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance, while serving on the audit committee of a Guadalajara financial firm. His research interests focus on management and financial accounting, and he has contributed significantly to corporate evaluation programs like "Las Mejores Empresas Mexicanas."
