Isabel Serra

Isabel Serra is a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), specializing in statistical modeling of extreme values. She is currently a Research Collaborator at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM) and a Senior Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). Her professional trajectory focuses on transferring knowledge to industry, society, and the environment. Serra is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Barcelona Graduate School of Mathematics and the Societat Catalana d'Estadística. She has taught statistics courses in various fields and master's programs, including Data Science, Actuarial Sciences, and Financial Mathematics.
