Hori Tsuneki is a Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), working within the Division of Environment, Rural Development, and Disaster Risk Management. His responsibilities include facilitating national sectoral dialogues, preparing technical documents, designing loans and technical cooperation, and managing DRM-related project portfolios. He is an accomplished author with several international publications, including his most recent book, "Local Disaster Risk Management in a Changing Climate: A Perspective from Central America," published by Emerald (UK). Hori holds a Ph.D. in International Environmental and Disaster Management from Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies.
