Hima Vasudevan

Hima Vasudevan is a Data Scientist in the Digital Business Group at IBM, where she is part of the Cognitive Class team. She focuses on creating skill offerings and delivering learning curricula for the Data Science and Data Engineering professions. Hima began her journey at IBM in 2016 as an Analytics Data Scientist Intern, working on a data mining project to predict power outages related to storms using IBM SPSS Modeler. Specializing in data mining and databases, she published a thesis titled "Effectively Updating Co-location Patterns in Evolving Databases". She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master's in Applied Computer Science from Purdue University.
