Heather Benfield

Heather Benfield served as a founding member of Davidson Next while leading Challenger Early College High School in Hickory, North Carolina as principal during the program's pilot phase. Her experience in blended learning and early college education helped shape Davidson Next's approach to combining traditional and technology-based instruction. As an experienced practitioner and trainer, she contributed to developing effective models for integrating digital learning tools with classroom instruction, particularly in Advanced Placement courses.
