Hamid Boustanifar

Hamid Boustanifar is a Professor of Finance at EDHEC Business School and the newly appointed Academic Director for the MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking. He joined EDHEC in 2018 after holding academic positions at institutions such as BI Norwegian Business School and the Stockholm School of Economics. Boustanifar's research focuses on corporate finance, empirical asset pricing, and business social responsibility, with recent works examining the valuation of intangibles and the application of natural language processing in finance. He is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience by integrating practical insights with academic rigor, ensuring that students are well-prepared for careers in finance. Under his leadership, the MSc program aims to evolve continuously, incorporating new electives and industry partnerships to keep pace with the changing financial landscape.
