Graciela Tonon holds a doctorate in Political Science, a master's in Political Science, and a degree in Social Service, complemented by postdoctoral studies at the University of Florence, Italy. As a Category 1 researcher in the National Incentives Program for research professors, she received the ISQOLS Distinguished Service Award in 2016 for her contributions to Quality of Life Studies. Her extensive academic career includes directing 32 accredited research projects and mentoring 71 researchers. Currently serving as Professor of Quality of Life and Social Sciences Research Methodology, she directs the Social Sciences Research Center at Universidad de Palermo. As Editor of Springer-ISQOLS's International Handbooks of Quality of Life Series and Director of Universidad de Palermo's Journal of Social Sciences, she has published extensively: 30 books, 65 scientific articles, and 94 book chapters. Her 25-year practical experience includes working with at-risk and abused children across educational, healthcare, and judicial settings. She has delivered 371 conferences and maintains active membership in prestigious international associations.
