As a Professor Emeritus in Intercultural Communication at IMT Atlantique, she previously served as the head of the Department of Languages and International Culture. Her research focuses on analyzing the development of intercultural skills among engineers in various professional and academic contexts, including both incoming and outgoing mobility. She evaluates teaching methods for face-to-face and telecollaboration environments while exploring the psycho-discursive positioning of intercultural mediation actors. Additionally, she is particularly interested in the concept of the "3rd place" (Kramsch 1993) and the negotiation spaces it creates. A founding member of DIDALANG, her work contributes significantly to the understanding of intercultural dynamics in engineering education.
