Dr. Giuliano Curatola serves as Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Naples Federico II and External Research Affiliate at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Through his Coursera course "Financial Markets and Asset Pricing," he helps students understand equilibrium asset pricing and portfolio theory. His research focuses on behavioral finance, CEO compensation, and risk-taking behavior in financial markets. Previously an Assistant Professor at Goethe University Frankfurt, he brings extensive teaching experience in monetary economics, international economics, and macroeconomics. His work has been published in prestigious journals including the Journal of Economic Theory, European Economic Review, and Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. His expertise spans asset pricing, portfolio theory, and behavioral finance, combining theoretical frameworks with empirical applications in financial markets
