Gerry, a native of Atlanta, holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University (GSU). He completed his undergraduate degree in Spanish with a minor in Psychology, studying abroad in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Japan. After working for Japan Airlines at Atlanta's airport for ten years, Gerry pursued his passion for education. He taught at Auburn University for five years, Gwinnett County Public Schools for three years, and the University of South Alabama for 1.5 years. Currently, he teaches at Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in ESL. His hobbies include swimming, cooking, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
