Gerhard Mulder serves as CEO and co-founder of Climate Risk Services, where he brings over 25 years of experience in climate risk assessment and sustainable finance. After studying environmental policy and economics at Columbia University and completing his MBA with distinction at Oxford University, he has established himself as a prominent voice in climate finance and risk management. His work focuses on helping financial institutions and corporations integrate climate risk into their strategic decision-making and risk management frameworks. As a senior advisor on green finance at the International Union for Conservation of Nature, he has pioneered innovative financing mechanisms, including landscape bonds for environmental projects. Through his teaching and advisory work, he helps organizations understand and manage climate-related risks while identifying opportunities in the green economy. His expertise particularly shines in developing climate risk assessment frameworks and green financing solutions, demonstrated through his work with banks and financial institutions worldwide.
