Her research employs qualitative methods, including 108 semi-structured interviews and 180 hours of participant observations, to understand how collaborative research projects are managed in practice. Her doctoral work examines individual-level constructs and informal mechanisms in university-industry partnerships, particularly focusing on openness in innovation and science. As an educator, she teaches MSc courses in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Food Innovation & Entrepreneurship, covering topics such as business models, lean startup approaches, and venture financing. Through her supervision of master's students and research on collaborative practices, she continues to advance understanding of how university-industry partnerships can effectively generate scientific and societal impact
