Institut Mines-TelecomGéraldine Texier serves as Professor at IMT Atlantique's Network Systems, Cyber Security and Digital Law (SRCD) department, where she conducts research as a member of the ADOPNET team. After completing her PhD in distributed systems from the University of Rennes 1 in 2000 and earning her Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in 2019, she has established herself as an expert in network virtualization and quality of service. Her research focuses on network virtualization, routing protocols, and QoS in communication networks, with particular emphasis on slice placement in 5G networks. Through her teaching activities in routing protocols, SDN/NFV, and QoS/Traffic Engineering, she continues to advance network systems research while contributing to multiple MOOCs on digital networks and data routing. Her work has garnered over 550 citations, reflecting her significant impact on the field of network systems and communications.
